Online Therapy for Women in California

Your life is already full. Therapy doesn’t need to make it fuller.

There’s work, family, relationships, people who need you, and all the ordinary things that somehow consume an entire Tuesday.

Online therapy gives you somewhere to talk about your own life without adding another drive across town to it.

You bring what’s been going on. I’ll meet you there.

Therapy from wherever life happens to be happening.

There’s something useful about being able to close a door, open your laptop, and have fifty minutes that belong to you.

You can come straight from work. Sit in your favorite chair. Take the session from the room where you actually feel comfortable. When we’re finished, you don’t have to immediately merge onto a freeway and contemplate your entire childhood in traffic.

Online therapy can still feel personal, connected, and very much like two people in a room together.

The room just happens to have two addresses.

The things we can talk about

Life has a way of bringing several things into the room at once.

Anxiety and overthinking. Perimenopause and a body that feels different. Caring for aging parents while your children still need you. Relationships that have changed. People-pleasing, boundaries, grief, old family dynamics, or the growing realization that something you've lived with for years doesn't fit quite the same anymore.

My work has a particular focus on women navigating midlife, perimenopause, caregiving, anxiety, and complicated relationship patterns, but we don't need to decide which category you belong in before we meet.

We'll start with what's actually happening in your life.

I’m interested in the things you notice.

The way your shoulders change around a certain person. The conversation you replay on the drive home. The immediate relief when plans get canceled. The answer you give before you’ve had time to ask yourself what you actually want.

Those things tell us something.

My approach combines evidence-based therapy with mindfulness, nervous-system awareness, and attention to your body and relationships. If intuition, spirituality, or questions of meaning are part of how you understand yourself, they’re welcome too.

Nothing has to be more mystical than it is.

This stays true to Jennifer's description of her approach as evidence-based and practical while incorporating mindfulness, nervous-system awareness, self-trust, intuition, and meaning when those things resonate.

Online doesn’t mean distant.

Therapy with me is a conversation.

I’m warm, curious, and involved. I’ll ask questions, share what I’m noticing, and help us make connections between what’s happening now and things that have been around much longer.

You don’t need to perform therapy correctly from the other side of the screen. Bring the complicated version. The thing you haven't figured out how to explain yet. The feeling that makes perfect sense and absolutely no sense at the same time.

We'll work with what's actually there.

I think a lot about peace.

Not being happy all the time. Life doesn’t work that way.

I mean knowing yourself well enough to recognize your patterns, trust your judgment, and understand what belongs to you and what doesn’t.

Life will continue being complicated. I want you to feel more grounded in yourself while you’re living it.

Peace, self-trust, understanding patterns, and knowing what is and isn't hers to carry are central to how Jennifer describes the goals of her work.
